This song talks about "Fire"... but might be too slow paced. Seems more like an island song. Island style Snowbunny?

Burlesque is illegal in Baton Rouge, so I'm not allowed to talk to you.  All that "gyrating" you do is against the law!

No seriously...   The big burlesque show here in BR was just shut down for "gyrating in a provocative manner".

I recall a stripper and a lap dance to Megadeath Symphony of destruction once in my life. It was a memorable experience as I think it was about 20 years ago and here I am posting about it.

Oooohhhh!!!! That first one! Now we're getting somewhere! That might fit in as my 2nd, slower song....

Class, take notice of what normal is doing here. He's got an unusual song, sexy, and, most importantly: within the theme.

The second one is really funny, I love it!

Yeah, the Tiger Weekly just had a big article about it.
http://tigerweekly.com/print/09-22-2010/15853/time-for-a-change
ETA: from the article "any group that performs in a manner of dancing, gyrating or twisting in
a provocative manner is in violation of Section 6.A.9 of the Wine,
Beer, and Liquor Ordinance."

Sea nymph/mermaid set:

I thought maybe goofy, like Octopus' Garden? I heard a song once with ocean sounds that was really cool....

How about this. We start with whale song, fade into Enya's Caribbean Blue and as soon as everyone is ready vomit, boom! Drop Kick Murphies' "Shipping up to Boston". Does that work? What two songs do you follow that with? I can't keep up that pace, I have to do a slower song after DKM, then a faster third and last song, right? Bear in mind, that I'm taking off my clothes, so even if the song is less exciting than DKM, I'll be able to keep their attention.

Or do you have a different idea for a three song set or even just a couple of songs that would go for the mermaid/ocean theme?

If I may make a constructive suggestion here:  Instead of the "whale song" (seriously, that was awful!), why not try something like Kate Bush's whale-inspired song "Moving" from her The Kick Inside CD?  Then segue into "Caribbean Blue" .....

I'm less confident in my next suggestion, but with that whole "ocean" theme could you fit in Toad The Wet Sprocket's "Walk On The Ocean"?  I don't know why, but that song has always caused me to envision someone doing a striptease to it!

If you want drama, something about the sea as well as something no one is familiar with... I present Sigur Ros - Saeglopur.  It starts slow but builds to a climax.

Auditioning with several. Started out with a fetish troupe, House of Krullen, then I used to be with the New Orleans Dolls, then I was hired on by Bustout Burlesque, but I never performed with them, serious artistic differences, way to tight of control over choreography.

The idea is to fake people out with the suckfullness, then hit them with DKM... get it, it's funny, no? It would only be a couple seconds of each painful sucky song. I couldn't handle a full 3 or 4 minutes of Enya, or Kate Bush for that matter.
