1) Why has Trump signed every bill Congress has sent him, only using his veto power once?
2) Which swamp creatures has Trump worked to primary in our recent midterm election and working to primary in the upcoming 2020 election? Surely there are primary opponents to all these incumbent swamp creatures.

Trump's ability to veto Congress and use his position as head of the party to support primary candidates he'd like to see elected are his two biggest powers and from all appearances, he's used neither to push his agenda he campaigned on.

No, I certainly didn't miss the shutdown because the end result was Trump caving when he had the Dems over a barrel and us getting a mechanism that millions of illegals can exploit to stay in country.

I've said multiple times in this thread and past, I've never put any stock in it and believe it was nothing more than bullshit drummed up by Democrats (including John McCain). You can search the site until you're blue in the face and you'll never find me supporting it and almost never even discussing it.

In fact, I think in one of the few instances I actually discussed it a while back, I believe I posted that Trump should have nipped it in the bud early while he could. He should have fired everyone involved, cleaned house at Justice, taken his lumps in the press, all so he can move on and focus on actual policy instead of a made up distraction. Of course, this was back before we lost control of the House...
