Nah, you're not wrong, OP. I will say this though, seeing his YT videos always in the suggested feed, he's one of the first personalities people stumble across when doing their research. However, it's easy to realize he's got his own agenda - and that agenda isn't good.

He's pro 2A and he's also something of a Fudd. I know a lot of people just like him. My best shooting buddy is like him to some degree. He owns multiple AR rifles, many standard cap pistols but he still thinks that bump stocks and pistol braces are an end run around the law.

Hickok45 is awful.

I had no idea he came out against bump stocks. I haven't seen a video of his since his first year on YT.

I found his videos to be boring. Banging away on steel.

An obvious industry shill, giving positive reviews for free stuff (like most gun youtubers). But more egregious about it.

Reviews would lack any substance. Real basic overview crap. You can learn more from any gunshop bubba. His target audience are the masses out there who don't own firearms, and like to live vicariously (aka masturbate) by watching him shoot, and drooling at how cool guns are.

Annoying voice. Always seemed Fudd'ish. Being a former schoolteacher - highly suspect for having libtard leanings, and it seems they are leaking out here and there.

My first impression of people is always right.

Is he pro 2A? Probably. But that means NOTHING. There are NRA members and volunteers who supported HR 8 publicly.
