El Milagro corn chips, best corn chip ever. Great cheese selection. Fresh produce is usually pretty good and reasonably priced. Someone told me Winking Owl wines are what's left over from a vineyard like Gallo completing a custom order. A friend drinks a lot of it, sometimes a bottle is decent other times it's bleh - you never know what you're gunna get. And don't forget to check out the aisle of wonders, the aisle with their seasonal deals. They also have the best pumpkins at the best prices around Halloween time. Can't go wrong with Aldi.
I remember when the first Aldi opened in my AO. Seemed like everyone thought it was a store for the poors, now it's packed all the time. |

PB Cups
Chocolate bars (blue wrapper). German? Swiss? Who knows-phenomenal! |

The local ALDI has some weird shit. I guess if you’re looking for lobster tentacles or Brambleberry pie it’s the place to be.

Italian Sparkling Water Kringle pastry Italian take-n-bake bread Brioche burger and hot dog buns Dark Chocolate Macaroons Texas Smoked Meatloaf Shrimp skewers (chipotle, tequila lime, garlic and herb, etc.) Bratwurst Baking goods (flour, sugar, salt, baking powder/soda, etc.) Flavored olive oils (garlic and rosemary are my favorite) Bentons Ice Tea mix Cheeses (double smoked cheddar and smoked gouda are my favs) Almond and Coconut shortbread cookies Key lime pie sandwich cookies Chai teas you mix 50/50 with milk Their generic raisin bran salted and unsalted butter, eggs, and heavy cream bacon Their whole bean coffees (Ecuador and Peru) and the vanilla creme brûlée ground coffee AA and AAA batteries Not a complete fan of everything. So far haven't cared for their corn chips, tortilla chips, peanut butter pretzels, Ritz cracker knockoffs, canned chili, applesauce, and a few other things. |

Their mustard potato salad is damn good. Not quite homemade, but better than any store bought I've had.
They make a gouda cheese. They make two. One sucks. The good one says" aged 1000 days"...top notch. Buy several even if you don't like gouda! Fish and chips meal in frozen section. Really good, restaurant quality. A +1 for their smoked salmon and fresh steelhead. Their breakfast hash brown patties suck. Don't buy those! |

Not even a chip guy and their Cuban sandwich chips are awesome.
They had chili lime chicken skewers that were extremely good, but I haven’t seen them the last few trips
The thick sliced bacon is very good. Better quality that the varieties sold at Sams Club (not as much water)
The frozen tempura tiger shrimp on skewers is VG. We will buy a whole case if they have them in stock.

The have some premixed "milkshake" drinks in the refrigerator section from time to time. Choc. Vanil. Banana. Usually. Kids love them and they are pretty good. Ive never seen a similar product elsewhere. Ive made special trips there just for them.
Some of the Workzone tools are decent quality and value priced. Some are junk though. Ive never tried their cordless tools. |

Quoted: They don't always have these, but if you find them, get them. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/303065/6e10cb10627b622544459571d20af19b-2865136.jpg I'll throw a couple in the air fryer, make some mashed potatoes, texas toast, and country pepper gravy. Delicious. View Quote I tried those in my air frier and they were absolutely horrible. Holy shit they were greasy. I do like their cheese section, with prices much cheaper for the same cheese in other stores. And their Mexican Street Corn dip is awesome! |
Quoted: A few years ago they were selling generators. View Quote They sold all sorts of non grocery items over the years. Sony DVD players, their own brand of desktop and laptop computers. I still have a 200 GB external hard drive they sold under their brand back in 2002. The external case died over a decade ago but the Seagate drive inside was still working. I got the queen size foam mattress for $89 6 years ago. My wife still can sleep for a solid 8 hours when she used to wake up every hour to toss and turn. A bought their 48 inch TV right years ago and it's still working fine. |

They just need to sell a big bag of mixed nuts and call it
ALDI'S NUTS *the poster above is correct, it's ALDI. Just ALDI. Not Aldi's. Their peppered bacon is really good.
Tortilla chips and potato chips. My wife likes the Winking Owl wine @$2.95 per bottle. She buys it by the case. |
The used to have a black bean salsa that was incredible. Its been MIA for a couple years now.

I picked up some ribeyes there on a whim and they were great! Their pre made non-frozen hamburger patties are good as well. Pretty much everything there now is quality.
I have to go to other stores for some specialty items or spices but Aldi covers about 80% of my shopping, especially for the basics. I do not care for their version of Fig Newtons. |
Their chicken breasts, hamburger and bacon are a great deal. You can’t beat the price of their pizza’s whether it’s the frozen or fresh.I wish they would bring back the apple cinnamon donuts.
Occasionally they have Mama Cozis frozen breakfast pizzas. Freaking delicious. I buy as many as I can when they are available.

Quoted: Sometimes their large frozen pizzas are marked down to $5.00. If you can find a loaded pizza even better but they are mostly pepperoni. Add a few mushrooms, onions or whatever and you have a decent cheap quick meal. View Quote Fuck the frozen pizza. Buy their Naan flatbread (~$4 for about 4 big pieces), a jar of their pasta sauce (~1.50), bag of shredded cheese (~$3.50) and their salami slices (~3.50) with some cilanto and cherry tomatoes (~$2 for both). in the time to pre-heat the oven (350 degrees @ 12 minutes) it's slapped together and after about 10 minutes of cooking you got something very tasty and relatively cheap. Doesn't taste like cardboard. Decent tasting and filling for 4 meals for a single dude for $15. Cost the same as their cheap pizza. |

Almond flour crackers.
The Cheddar and Parmesan Rosemary are absolutely fantastic. The Everything ones are ok but nothing to write home about. |
We have had one for 20 years and I still haven't walked in.
Someday. |

Their frozen gyro kits are pretty good, and feed 4 of us for the price of one sandwich at the gyro joints.
All their KETO stuff is GTG. The bread and hamburger buns are great for sandwiches and pool hamburgers.
KETO granola or power bars are fantastic and 3 net carbs. |
Ever since the horse meat incident I have not set foot in one.
Their turkey tenderloins are great. I'll grill or roast them, then slice up for homemade turkey subs. They work great for turkey jerky too.
Tzatziki sauce is great. All their cheeses. Bacon is good and only $4/pound. All their chips. Brioche buns. Their meat has always been good. Never really been disappointed with anything to be honest. |
