I really don't understand the shock and backlash over this.
It's gone on since the beginning of the entertainment industry. Heck, as far back as the 30s, the casting couch has been a standard joke in all the film circles. Funny how now all of a sudden the acknowledged but unspoken way of doing business in all the slime pits called mass media is suddenly such news. Hell, how many movies have been made about it? Just look at Jacquelin Susan's book and later the movie called Valley of the Dolls that came out around 67 or so. It pretty much chronicled the sex, drugs, blackmail, and back room deals that make up the whole industry. |

Hopefully it gives them a new cause to go after for a while so we don't have to listen to all these performers preach to us about politics and climate change.

It’s good for this implosion. It’s odd how Hollywood fame makes the BEST parents and the MOST moral people. These people are so full of shit for the most part with their elevated lives. Most are just normal pieces of shit that have good looks and the ability to not laugh when filming. Then they get a little success in Hollywood and become June and Ward cleaver. The only other thing that seems to elevate people into super morality is politics.

They should take the whole industry down and start over. But this has been going on since the dawn of Hollywood.
The sad part, is every actress that didn’t make it, will use this as an excuse. |

I think if people really knew how sleezy the film industry is, from the actors up to the studio bosses, they would never patronize a movie theater or rent a DVD/stream again.
It truly is the most vile industry in the United States. It's no better than the porn industry, just with more money and thousands of PR shills in the industry and mass media that are paid to legitimize it. |

Think of all the kids shows too...I can imagine how many kids have been molested in that industry... I bet you get Doogie Howser and Fred Savage to come clean you would find out how many Sandusky's and Roman Polanskis are working out there.

The NFL and Hollywood implosion. It's like early Christmas presents. I can't erase the grin off my face.

It couldn't happen to a more worthy group of asshole scumbags.

Hollywood could learn quite a bit from the NFL scandal. It was over one year ago that Kaepernick took his knee. From that simple gesture now the NFL is losing fans And is in controversy.
The same has the potential to happen to Hollywood. We could be talking about this one year from now. Movies could be boycotted websites like Twitter could be boycotted there's a lot of implications. Let's not forget that there are many many women over the years who have slept there way to the top of business corporate ladder. The sex thing goes both ways. I know personally at least three instances where a secretary came on board,(making 25k) saught out the highest producing sales rep or the manager(300k income+) and friendly lunches became sex at a hotel which turned into divorce and marriage. Women try to have it both ways they want to use sex when it's convenient for them to advance but then bitch and moan about it years later when it was "unwanted " |

The Chinese film industry is behind all of this.
They are trying to destroy Hollywood so that we have to import our consumer goods AND our media from China |

Msm has reported that Weinstein started this back in 1984, I wonder how it's only now being brought to light?
I'm not trying to castigate victims but where was the outrage when it became known in hollyweird, that didn't just happen. |

View Quote Hell, New Mexico had a speaker of the house (Manny Aragon) sent to prison for graft and corruption on a monumental scale, and the worst his old compatriots would ever really say about him was that "he made some mistakes." Weinstein also had a TON of influence, so he could destroy anyone that wronged him. If you shoot at the king, you best not miss. |
