What someone at one of these Universities needs to do is make the claim that children should engage in war play, like we older folks did as kids. Playing Army or Cops and Robbers on the school playground should be encouraged, not grounds for suspension.
I believe that school shootings would be nearly eliminated if kids were allowed a constructive vent. |

This is developmental psychology 101 and nothing new. By making a huge deal about it/punishing children for playing doctor, it can have a negative effect on them long-term because children at that age are just exploring and it's normal part of life. You're of course still going to tell the children to stop doing it, you're just not going to make a huge freak out about it. No on is actually encouraging children to do it, they're only talking about what do AFTER potentially catching children in the act and how to handle it. This thread is a perfect example when you see 4+ more pages of echo chamber "I knew this was true about liberals advocating pedophilia" since no one takes the time here to use basic critical thinking skills and to verify if it's actually true. |
