The Old Tiger Stadium had the best Hot Dogs, Ball Park Frank's in steamed buns, mustard slapped on it.

I always loved this scene from 2010 A Space Odessy

Yup, I'm weird.

Oh, and if it's not all that ... I'm going with just ketchup!

My family is from upstate New York.

I have about 8 packages of White Hots and 4 packages of their natural casing hot dogs in my freezer right now.

My parents will generally load a carry on suitcase and bring them when they come down.

The white hots I eat with ketchup and the others I eat with brown mustard.

Baseball game home comfort food, just had these last night on opening day.  You can slather them with cheese or mustard before shoving them in your grill.

Costco Polish dogs steamed.
Bun that will fit the whole wiener helps, steam it for 20 seconds.

Paint the open bun with peanut butter, then put a layer of sweet green relish on top of that.
Place wiener on top of that then zig-zag a liberal amount of Sriracha sauce across the works.

Garnish with a little cilantro if you wish, but it's up to you.

Thank me later, many have !

I pan fry them in some butter until they start to blister/brown a bit. Then I small dice dill pickle and jalapenos and mix it with either whole grain or Beaver brand sweet hot mustard to make a little relish.

Simple, quick, delicious.

Zweigles hot dogs, absolutely.

That is the roll I was talking about. I think the name was twisted from the original, a hoagie roll I remember (from the early 60's) was not the sub roll of now. It was a large round roll cut in half and filled with what ever.

You ACTUALLY posted Bar S?  WTF.

I volunteer much of my warm weather season to helping with youth baseball.  The last two years I must have cooked 5k hotdogs.  The director of our org shows up one weekend with HUGE packs of Bar S hotdogs, because they were the cheapest thing he could find (profit margins yo).  I threw those bitches on the grill and started cooking a hundred of them for the crowd.  Those fuckers 1) burn/char terrible 2) don't have a good taste and 3) THEY EXPLODE into fire.

We have one side of the grill where dogs are held for customers.  The other side is hot for cooking.  This works fine with every brand of hotdog except Bar S.  I kid you not, if you sit those fuckers on the warm side (after being cooked) and let them sit there for a while - they explode into flames and end up looking like a black turd laying on the grill.  I'm talking flames, burning the actual "meat" of the dog, etc.  Very odd.

There's my beef with Bar S hotdogs.  Yes, they are cheap.  But, if it saves only one child my message will not be in vain.
