We must've been fucked in the head then.  The only two folks I knew that didn't want to go to war, deserted like little bitches.  I was royally fucking pissed when I missed out on a 3rd deployment because of recruiting orders.

205 jobs in the Army, no one is forced into combat arms.

Only because it was necessary.   Given the choice between:  A) go to war to defend freedom, and B) stay home because there is no war, choosing "A" means you're fucked in the head.

How can you go to war if there is no war?

How many of your buddies that wanted to be there would rather there hadn't been a war so they could have stayed home?  Did they truly want to be there?  If they were glad that there was a war so that they could go shoot people and be shot at, then they were fucked in the head.

The draft needs to be abolished if you have to be forced to serve your nation when it needs you most then your nation is not worth saving.

The girls are going to be forced into combat arms.  So that there's a certain percentage, whatever that may be.  To form a protective cadre for their sisters that want to climb the ladder.

They are?

I'll wait to see the actual change in policy.

You can always find one - Vietnam,  South America, Panama, etc.  Of course periodically, we go to war alongside the likes of the biggest empire in the world, Great Britain, the second-biggest empire in the world, France, another colonial power, the Dutch, and allied with Communist Russia - in order to "promote self-determination".   Of course the causus belli, Poland?  They ended up taken over, just like they were at the start.

Once they synch up, they'll turn into a berserker squad.

I hope they make female selective service registration retroactive, and any female of fighting age is forced to register.

That would be the most equal.

And all those who missed their opportunity at equalness from 18-25 have to register for the next 7 years.

Time to sign up Grandma!
