Now? Heh.... yeah right.

Back in my prime in the Navy? 8:40 mile and a half. Would blow the PST out of the water.

I really should get on that, because I'm horrible now.

My last 2MR was about 14:13..fastest I've ever done it was 13:24 on my EOC at Fort Benning. Could probably do 1.5 mi. in 11 or 12 mins.

But how fast and far can you got with a 65lb ruck on? ;)

Been out of the Army and haven't run consistently for a couple going on about 3 years now. Ran a few weeks ago...think I covered 2mi at about 18min So extrapolate as necessary...

ETA: I'm sitting at 250lbs at 6'1 right now. And I"m pretty certain being in Germany for the majority of this month will not improve my running. At. All.

11:30.

I can run a 5k (3.1 miles) in about 24:30.

That's pretty much my limit. Things start hurting if I try to go to much faster than that.

I might be able to wring out a sub-11:00 time, but it's not something I could do multiple times in a row.

I'm a cyclist, and have a decent "engine".  Last time I ran 1.5, I think I did it in just under 10

I've never run a 1.5 mile for time.  I've done a 5k (3.11) in 24:30, so it stands to reason I could do 1.5 miles in 12:00 or maybe under.  I picked 12 to 13 to be conservative.

Depends on who I am running from.

I ran a 5k in 18:25 in the spring.. not sure what that would equate to at 1.5 miles - it's not  a very standardized track or road race distance.  MAYBE squeaking in under 8:00?

I did it in 12:19 a few years ago.....at 7,000 feet elevation.  I,m sure I have slowed down a bit.

I would probably take me about 35 minutes.  I would be stopping to enjoy the scenery.
