Born during Truman's Administration----first President I clearly remember was Eisenhower.
Distinctly recall being about 7 or 8 years old and had just recently learned to read somewhat well----I was sitting on the short flight of steps that went up to our kitchen & the recently delivered newspaper was laying on the kitchen floor, with the headline reading, "Ike Reelected." Remember asking my Mom, "What is an Ike?" |

I remember my dad watching a speech with some guy in a suit speaking to other guys in a room with suits. I asked "Who is that Daddy?" And he said "That is the president of the united states, Ronald Reagan". |

6 now, although I don't remember Reagan at all and barely remember Bush Sr.
Trump is the 4th person I've voted for for President (in a general, also voted for FBHO in the 2008 primary--McCain had the GOP locked up by the time it got to PA and I preferred FBHO to FHRC--and Cruz in 2016), second who won, first who won my state. |
