How long have you been licensed to drive and how many cars have you had registered in your name? I know people who change their cars about as often as some people change their underwear. I am the exact opposite. I keep them as long as a can, as difficult as that may be in the rust belt.
I have been licensed to drive for 24 years. I have had 5 cars in my name. I still have 4 of those cars. One car for every 4.8 years of driving. |
|
Over 16 years of driving.
4 cars. I've had my latest car 8 years. Hard to believe its been that long. |
|
In 17 years of driving, I have owned 8 cars.
Longest time in one car was from 2005-2010. |
|
Thirty years of driving and have owned 4 vehicles.

Been driving 38 years. Not including the ex-wife's vehicles, I've owned and driven 12 different trucks and one Jeep. There are at least 4-5 other vehicles that I owned while I was married but never drove daily. I also am the legal owner of one truck, one Jeep and one car that my my kids currently drive. I gave the car to my daughter as a gift, I share the Jeep ('88 YJ playtoy) with my son, and am the cosigner/title holder on the truck he currently drives. He has it nearly paid off, but I technically own it.

42 years/ 24 vehicles IIRC. Only counting the vehicles I kept and drove as personal vehicles, had several more that I bought, restored, and sold.
ETA: I didn't count motorcycles, I think there have been about 12 of them through the years, still have 2. |
|
40+ years, 4 motorcycles and well over 100 cars. Down to only owning 6 right now, high-water mark at any one time was 13. |
|
36 years... 8 vehicles (not counting motorcycles which were used as primary vehicles. Counting motorcycles... eight additional)

Been driving for 30 years.
I've had no less than 25 cars, trucks or motorcycles registered in my name. That does not include any dirt bikes or quads that were not street legal. Many of the cars were purchases made with the intent of repairing them and reselling them. I currently have three cars/trucks registered in my name. The longest I have had any single car registered to me was 22 years, before I gifted it to my daughter. We brought her home from the hospital in it, taught her to drive in it and watched her leave home in it. |

50 years of driving. More vehicles, especially trucks and Jeeps than I can remember. Can't drive anymore due to health problems and that hurts more than I can describe. Miss my last new truck a lot.
|

20 years, 4 cars.
Haven't paid over $1200 for any of them, and paid for them in cash. I take all that money that could have went to payments, and stick it in my retirement.... |
|
18 years licensed.
As far as how many vehicles... right now I have five, so likely 15+ including toys. Not sure. |
|
Licensed and have driven for more than 40 years.
I have owned only three four-wheeled motor vehicles, four if you count one that I bought for parts. My present one has about 225K miles on it. |
