Just purchased a Streamlight TLR1 H1. Looking to pick up a Vedder IWB holster for my G19. I've always carried a flashlight but tempted to start carrying with a WML.

All my carry guns have lights.

No real reason not to. I run an Insight APL because that's what I'm currently committed to with holsters etc.. Will eventually switch over to Surefire I think, but for now I am ok with the APL.

I do not carry with a WML currently but I’ve been researching the TLR-7 and I may make the move.

ETA:  I do have a Glock factory light on my pistol at night.  Do not know how many lumens but it’s not much.  Very easy on the eyes when awakened in the night.

Nope.  It significantly bulks up the holster (sucks if you carry iwb), and I’ve had a lot of trigger time using the Harries Method.

Glock 43 with TLR6 and Glock 19 with TLR7,

I am looking to get into USPSA and I cant believe that a TLR7 puts me into open division.  IDPA doesnt even allow lights.  It baffles me that these "Defensive Pistol" competitions discourage or disallow the use of such a vital defensive tool.

Looks like I will just have to get another holster.  Really wanted to use my molle belt for competition but it may be easier to just get a belt loop kydex holster for it...

I do, but I also carry a little 220 lumen Fenix LD09 in my pocket. It's a 4 position light, tailcap on/off where you press through each mode. 1st mode is 3 lumens, 2nd 50 lumens, 3rd is 220 lumens, 4th is SOS. It works great.

I have an O'Light PL Mini Valkyrie on my P30. It depends on what's going on as to which light I use, and much of the time it's a combo of both.

I did last year.  I will next year again.

Not having a WML was one of my big hesitations when I decided to do my year of wheel gunning.

Whenever I have had the capability I have always carried a wml.

I carry the P938 below now. Had a P238 with the same light before that.

Same thing for me. TLR1S on a G19. It was a game changer to have the light.

Depends. Always have a handheld light, and I've got a significant amount of trigger time with the above-mentioned technique. Not an issue with most pistols.

With my 92G-SD, I always have a light on it, since the pistol is already bulky and heavy; enough so that the Harries stance negatively impacts split times a bit. A good leather holster is preferred, the weight of the gun tends to make kydex dig into your upper thigh something awful when moving around.

With my P99 and TLR7, I have a crossbreed dropwing without the light mounted; with the light, I had to have a custom kydex rig made, along with leather belt loops for added comfort. It's infinitely better than standard kydex belt loops or pancake loops.

Glock 19 and 17, I've used different lights. TLR1, TLR7, X300, XC1, etc. Easy to find a leather holster to fit a G17 with a full size light.

I do too and it sucks. TLR-6/XC1 mitigate (but don't entirely eliminate) the extra bulk/weight issues.  Scores on the night qual range always favor the people running a light.  WML all the things (carry a handheld too).
