Brand new. It’s always brand new, because the two or three in the last few years that I have needed a truck I just go down and rent one. I’ve never understood why Uber or Lyft don’t do a sideline for people that occasionally need a truck. The truck owner can even come along and help you load your stuff. That seems like a great money making opportunity.

2006 with 96,xxx miles. I buy older, low mileage trucks. I'm not spending $75k on a new full size truck.

Oldest I had was a '77 K10. It had the full-time 4WD case. I think it averaged 8 MPG. It was a good truck.

2001 Silverado 4.8 single cab, 290,000 miles. On its second tranny. Bought in 2007 for $500 with a ruined motor and replaced the motor with one from wreck.  Change the oil every 3k miles. Cheap to insure.  I am a poor.

I daily drive a 2022 F-150 XLT.  Love it.
My wife drives a 2020 Ranger Lariat.  Love that one too.

I also love all the old trucks in this thread.  I would love to have a 60's or 70's Ford or Chevy shortbox.

Ouch. Muh feelz. I had an '06 I had to sell. (dee-vorce ) I imagine yours is the same way: with one straight, uninterrupted pipe from the turbo to the tailpipe? And MAN did that thing respond to a tune. On the big tune, it was faster than a Camaro I used to have.

I just realized my truck is 20 years old being a 2002. Im the 2nd owner. Dodge Ram crew cab 4x4. No active fuel management. No fancy gizmos. Just a V8 with 5 speed tranny and throttle body. Dependable and gets the job done.

Almost the same! Automatic transmission, 4.7 engine. Bought it used in 2005 for 10k.

Has 229k miles on it now. Was my daily driver for years, now it's my hauling/ work truck that doesn't get used as much anymore.

AC doesn't work, local garage said the evaporator, which is buried under the dash, leaks. They didn't want to do it.
I bought a new evaporator and heater core to do it myself, but never got around to it.
It's an all day job if everything goes perfectly. And it won't.

2007 Nissan Xterra w/4.0L v6. I bought it used with a bit less than 27K on it in 2011. It just hit 120K last weekend but I'll be putting more mileage on it next month due to return to office.

I had the radiator replaced in 2020 so I don't need to worry about the dreaded SMOD.

You own nothing and you're happy.

'03 Ram3500 SLT, DRW, 4wd, std. cab, Cummins TBD, 48re auto, Patriot Blue, 210Kmi. No rust and I went through it and replaced all the bushings and joints, and tires, since this pic. Was my Dad's originally.

2015 Taco TRDOR. 3K miles. Bought new. I just drive it if I need to do things I need a truck to do them. Usually hauling some sort of trailer. Don't need to haul more then a couple K pounds so it works well for that. Like the 4.0 and A-750 far better then the updated 3.5 motor and transmission.

The old girl isn't looking bad for 40yr old. She's a 1982.
Its about a 4-5yr old restoration.  Crate motor, new transmission with overdrive, full interior, body work, paint, aftermarket AC, brakes, rewired the whole thing.
