I think he has already.  I strongly suspect that this is the same gun, just with a humpback receiver.  The buttpad is the same, and the bolt release button looks the same from the few pictures I can find.  Not encouraging.  But then again there's the pic above of another SR5 with a non-humpback receiver and a different bolt release button, so who the fuck knows?

Think I'll spend a few bucks more for one of the Turk M2 or M4 clones that at least have better reviews.

To what point and purpose?

SBSing it would be hilarious to pay more in taxes than the purchase price.

You don’t understand anything about hyper inflation.   The exchange rate is very favorable toward the USD at the moment.    They are just trying to keep the heavily subsidized factories open.

I got a few of the 1911’s and the quality is as good as Domestic American.   I could find no flaws.

The shotguns looked good too, though I haven’t shot them yet.

I wish people could concentrate on Facts, rather than Emotion.

I get what you’re saying, but TFB has tested a few Turkish shotguns (autos and pumps) so far, and every single one broke. Sure it’s just a sample size of one each, but I certainly wouldn’t buy with confidence.

I'd only trust the AKSA S4, even then it has some issues.

People used to pooh-pooh the idea of a sub-$1000 AR too, yet hardly anyone cares about that anymore. With modern production techniques, building a reliable gun isn't difficult.

Guns aren't exactly rocket science.

It is if you're in Turkey and don't care if the gun even works or not because you'll just change the company name in a couple months and sell Americans more of the same garbage.

Dunno, my Panzer M4 is more reliable than some  Benelli M4's that folks here have.

I watched a video recently and the guy threw his malfunctioning turkish shot gun down the range. Maybe it was user error.Go to the 2 minute mark.

That guy cracks me up, sometimes. He had a modified Benelli M4 totally fail the 500 round test and made excuses for it.
Then he gives the gun a second chance, but only runs buckshot through it.

He can be a little biased sometimes.

If you are willing to buy a Turkish gun, make sure to get one from one of the handful of established brands that have been around for years and not the no-name, here today, gone tomorrow manufactures/importers that will import a batch of guns and then disappear off the market in 6 months.
