I have a Red Star Arms bullpup and they're definitely gassed in favor of the heavier loads, and since this is a "defensive" shotgun I have no problems with that. I bought a bunch of cheap buckshot and it's handled those flawlessly. Birdshot is iffy, maybe 90% ejection rate. You can tell because the low-power shells just sort of fall out of the ejection port rather than being, well, ejected. Since I don't plan on using a bullpup to hunt doves, I have no concerns. |

People used to pooh-pooh the idea of a sub-$1000 AR too, yet hardly anyone cares about that anymore. With modern production techniques, building a reliable gun isn't difficult.
Guns aren't exactly rocket science. |

If you are willing to buy a Turkish gun, make sure to get one from one of the handful of established brands that have been around for years and not the no-name, here today, gone tomorrow manufactures/importers that will import a batch of guns and then disappear off the market in 6 months.
