Practice.

By the way, they’re magazines, not clips.

Nope, on that particular rifle the clips goes into the magazine and stay there until the action inevitably ejects it.

Hmm.  are we all too anal about the term "assault rifle?"  Any other OCD going on around here?

If you've been here since 2017 and don't know what a clip is, my first thought is you're not very smart or you're a sleeper plant taking names and waiting for some sort of go sign.

Know how I know that you didn't watch the video?

You'd get more practice if you didn't burn through 16 rounds per reload.

Not sure why you burned through the second 8 then didn't even do another reload

Don't they make a 3 or 5 round clip? Or figure out a way to only shoot one round then load a full one.

Yes, they do make some smaller clips

I see lots of guys reload super fast, and I’m trying to get better but still slow.

What’s the best way to change clips faster like Jerry Miculek?

Today we see who responds with wise words of wisdom without actually watching the video.

Nice bait OP, well done.

I came here to watch people make fun of OP.  Instead, I get to see OP make fun of posters who didn't watch.

Nice job OP!

That's an awesome assault rifle the guy in the video had.

My Grandad used one of those to assault Nazi-occupied Europe.

Jeff Cooper called them clips too.  Only internet experts agonize over the words.

BTW, I own a Garand.  One of the very last ones ever made.  Being a lefty it  comes with an additional benefit.  When the clip ejects there is a very satisfying ping.  This is followed by another ping when it bounces off my head.  What's not to love about that?    For me Garand thumb is a thing of the past.  My father in law (USMC 1939-1948) showed my how to load them properly so that it will not happen.

If you want to get faster at loading new clips you need to go to the doctor for some surgery.  You need to get a clip joint installed in you arm.  This greatly speeds things up.  When was the last time the term clip joint was used here?   Has it ever been used prior to this?

I’m absolutely laughing my ass off at all the people dragging OP for using the term “clip” when if they watched the video for 2 seconds they’d know it is the proper term. Some people just want to shit on other people I guess.

They are en bloc clips. It's an M1 Garand.

It's easier with a K- or L- frame revolver.

I can't reload my 642 at anything approaching what could be called quick.

Just pull another one and get back in the fight.

Jim Cirillo’s ‘NY Reload’ is pretty foolproof.
