Cragar S/S; the best looking wheels ever made.

The fastest car Mercedes makes is a wagon. Fun fact.
I also love wagons, don't ask me why but I love them. |

I used to drive this one, I LOVED it.
Attached File 2006 WRX, bought it new. I now drive a 21 WRX, sadly no current wagon option. |

I threw an adjustable shifter pivot, Legacy GT rotors and brackets, adjustable sways, aluminum endlinks, and Bilsteins under mine. Borla Hush CB, UP, DP, intercooler hoses, and 17psi tune. Other than the scoop and deeper exhaust note it looks all stock. |

I always wanted a 1964-65 Chevelle two-door wagon but they are premium-priced now, though.

My wife drives a Ford Flex and loves the damn thing.
Let’s just say she looks a hell of a lot better than it does.. |

Quoted: Mercedes AMG E wagon or CTS V wagon, this is the way. View Quote I’d love an e55. And looked at them once. But there was a reason you could pick one up at 1/4 of original msrp. Everyone I looked at was in the dealer every month like clock work for something. Guess I’m just too poor to maintain one. |

Mom had a 72 Ford Country Squire. It was "mom car", "kid car" and our vacation sled throughout most of the 70s.
Dad picked up a literal cherry 69 Ford wagon, just like this photo, for $600 in about 1980. Attached File The odometer had less than two grand on it. It had lived most of it's life garaged on some island in the Caribbean. It was a sweet deal, so he bought it for a spare car and for my little brothers to learn to drive with. They dinged it up pretty quick. Dad kept it a few years until someone offered him more for it than he paid for it. |

Volvo XC 70 and Subaru Outback here

Not reading in 4 pages to say station wagons are just as popular now as they've ever been
Instead of Town & Country they're called a "crossover suv", like my wife's Nissan Murano or a Subaru Still just another damn station wagon, and just like a glock a station wagon has a useful place |

Have some happy memories involving station wagons. Owned a few over the years. They come in damn handy.
And BTW, a set of Cragar S/S look good on an old Country Squire. |

Quoted: @medic9 In 89 and 90, chrysler offered the 2.5 turbo with either their performance manual trans, or the three speed auto trans. This was mainly to tide them over until v6 production could meet demand. Although the 4cyl turbo engine pit up better numbers and got better gas mileage. If I'm cruising along with the ac off at around 65mph, I get 25 to 28mpg in mine. I now have a slightly larger turbo, and better I take and exhaust Manifold. It's awesome. When I was a regular over at VwVortex/the car lounge forum 10-15 years ago, there was a guy with a tuned turbo minivan that looked stock on the outside. Used to share stories about going to the drag trip and just embarrassing mustangs, Camaros, tuned civics, all the usual suspects of the late 90/early 00 tuning crowd. I don't remember what he was able to get it down to, I wasn't really a 1/4 mile guy, just that it was fast |

A buddy of mine drag races his family's old Nova wagon (I oughta know the year, but I can't recall). It's a pretty cool car.
Back in HS another buddy bought an early 90's Celebrity wagon from the MO HP. We beat the hell out of that car. |

This thread had me looking at the E Class AMG wagon and the R6...geezus.
I might have to just settle for the E Class AT wagon. Anyone drive one care to give an opinion? |

Quoted: I grew up in station wagons as a kid in the late 60s and early 70s. My favorite was the 73 Pontiac Catalina Grand Safari Station Wagon. It had a 455cu V8 that would run 120mph all day long. I took my drivers test in it when I was 16. It was fun to parallel park that land yacht. This one looks a lot better than ours did. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/78788/73Pontiac-2694189.jpg View Quote My family had one a couple years newer (rectangular headlights) and we did LOTS of road trips with it. That particular one was trash, having rust holes through the body by 1980, but the style and usefulness was pretty cool. |

One of my friends had a BMW diesel station wagon when he was stationed in Germany. That thing was so badass. Scary fast too

Would like a 68-74 Dodge/Plymouth B body wagon. I’d paint it a high impact color, give it a performance hood and a super charged 5.7 hemi with O/D and A/C
Easier to fit the kids and dog in it that my ‘70 Challenger |

Meh... PEASANTS! Station Wagons are soo...1970s I would not be caught dead in one. Now, a Shooting Brake, that is what you need to be one with the upper crust.

The Jaguar XF wagon is amazing.
Hard to find in the States, though. |

I'd love to have a Subaru WRX STI wagon, black with a standard transmission please.
