My son just got back from 4 days in Yosemite, and 3 days in San Francisco. He Said he saw no homeless encampments. Saw one bum. Did say everywhere reeked of weed.

Even the nice areas of the city have homeless encampments of 5-10 people sleeping outside and laying around during the day. Even the financial district has bums all over the embarcadero. The FI district is as bad as the Tenderloin used to be 20 yrs ago. Maybe they were just waiting for me to move to fix it but seems unlikely. |
