I've ordered some tools and parts to do some watch modding on my Seiko SKX007.
I'm ordering a cheapo "brew your own gallon of beer" kit. I'm not at the point yet to order a Factory Five Racing kit car. But I hope to be there by end of 2021. Need suggestions for some other craftsman/DIY/build-stuff-with-your-hands hobbies. Have already mastered porn and beating off, so don't bother suggesting them. ETA: looking primarily for hobbies making stuff that is practical and useful. |

Build a wood fired oven.
Paint toy soldiers That’s what I’ve been doing. |

Quoted: Paint toy soldiers View Quote last time I did that, I painted a blue helmet onto a plastic little green army man, shot it with a 308 round at 25 yards, and sent it to my BIL in Europe who was always shit-talking America and saying how great the UN is. My wife took away my paints AND my bags of LGAM. |

Leatherwork is one of those things you can learn to do rather exceptional level of quality work with a rather low investment in tooling. Most of the improvements gained from machines are efficiency and not capability driven.
Bonus: Shop smells like fresh tanned leather. |

Get a 3D printer. It’s cheaper than a P80 kit.
Or, if you’re affluent like everyone in GD (except me), set yourself up a small metal shop and start churning out lowers. ?? |

Do you reload? I ask because that is the exact reason I started.

Start reloading ammo. It's a hobby all in it's self.
After this ammo shortage is over, buy components cheap and stack them deep. As for now, start researching and buy a Dillon. You can still get primers, powder and bullets now you just have to be quick |
