Any army ruck will fit a broken down M240 but you wouldent make it through customs.

He's full of it....a buddy of mine said he had to go through at least 4 search stations, with amnesty bins, and got checked more when he got back here. I think they would have found a 240.

Oh, and "I lost it in combat" is like saying "My dog ate my homework."

No tools required for general disassembly of the M240B. The barrel, buttstock, top cover, and trigger group can be removed without tools.

Regarding his crew knowing???? We were talking about whether the gun would fit in his ruck sack, right??? Stick to the point.

You're left with a 24.7" barrel and a 30" some receiver and the 6-8"(?) long buttstock.

Now I've heard stories from back in WW2 how servicemen would break down 'spare' M1919's and Tommy Guns, and mail them back home piece-by-piece...  Which given the time's I can believe that.

But an M240B these days, or even a M9 or hell a helmet?  No way...  Not unless he's involved in some high-level arms smuggling in which case he wouldn't be bragging about it.  I call total BS.
