People think it's staged for ratings but the possibility is huge for both guys to take a hit to their careers. No way they go along with staging this unless there were a witty punch line planned to show it was a gag. Think of the David Niven joke about the Oscars streaker "showing his shortcomings". Where was that kind of payoff for this? If there was a potential payoff, it's people talking about the Oscars. However, if that was what they were going for, I'm not sure they planned for it to be the talk that it is, when cuck is one the top trending words in entertainment social media and backlash for the "bigger" star |

If a white person did the slapping and wasn’t escorted off the property people would be up in arms, or if it was a black person slapping a white person, weird how sometimes race does matter in certain situations.
Slap seemed real to me, why would Will Smith ruin his reputation over this? If it was just a slap it might be more difficult to tell if it was staged or not, him dropping F bombs on live TV I don’t think would have happened if it was staged. Things looked really awkward for the people sitting around Will Smith. Yeah people are talking about the Oscars but not in a positive way, we aren’t talking about who won what. In the future are they going to make it so you can’t make jokes if they offend anyone? This isn’t going to help with the next Oscars. |

This whole scenario is more simple than people are making it.
Will Smith is an entitled scientologist whackadoo who's most likely a closeted homosexual like John Travolta. All of those factors add up and manifest in bizarre ways A normal man with similar money/fame/power, could very easily be on board with having an open relationship in their marriage . . . . especially when his wife is aging and bald. Hell, if you were the jealous type a great revenge would be daily threesomes with coked out 19 year old Runway models because these are the type of luxuries being an A-list movie star can afford you. Instead Will Smith, being the sexually confused long time entitled cult member he is, took a quick look at the scenario, read his wife's face, and thought to himself "what would a masculine straight man do in this exact situation?" and somehow that ended up being an open face slap followed by a good long public cry. |

Where are their apologies? Never mind. I am not naïve. We all know Hollywood is full of hypocritical limousine liberals. Last night they just demonstrated that reality to the world. |
