I liked 2Fort32 and CanalZon for the original Team Fortress mod for Quake. The most fun I ever had in a video game was exploiting a bug in TF for Quake.
Basically you could join a server and spectate and move around like a ghost through walls and stuff and nobody could see you and you were unkillable but could not interact with the world. There was an oversight in the game whereby if you were spectating you could get infected by a medic if you were in front of him while he swung his axe and you couldn't die from the infection as you were unkillable but you could spread the infection to the opposing team of the medic. 
I joined a server where the map never ended and proceeded to do just that, get infected while a spectator. So for about 3 hours I'm going around and just infecting people on the opposing team of the medic that infected me and I'm laughing my ass off the whole time because I'd do shit like infect somebody who was alone in the flag room just guarding the flag. They'd be setting up a turret and and all of the sudden they are infected and yelping and going WTF?!?!!?! and trying to figure out who attacked them. The confusion people had and expressed via chat was absolutely hilarious. I literally laughed myself hoarse. People started accusing the medic that infected me of hacking/cheating and he's like WTF are you talking about I haven't been playing as a medic for over an hour. He had hundreds of kills compared to other people.  Medics on the other team were frantically trying to heal/cure people as I infected people over and over and they couldn't figure out why they couldn't cure people. 
Yes it was a dick thing to do, but it was beyond funny.

MOUT McKenna in Americas Army is the best FPS map ever made. SF Dockside is a very close second. Ghost Town in Land Warrior is another good one. Mout wasn't even close to the best map in AA let alone the best mp map ever. And dockside? Wtf?! Insurgent Camp, Weapons Cache, Border, Sandstorm, Mountain Pass, Collapsed Tunnel..all wayyy better than Mout. Damn I miss that game. |

Ye gads though, probably the best map for flow evar created. The spawn placement was perfect for both teams to reach the critical engagement zones at the same time and do so with at least some defensive layering CT side while still allowing a halfway smart T side to use the hallway to access A site in large enough numbers to turn the CT flank and negate the AWP watching the tunnel. Also, shoot the guy thru the crate right side tunnel. He's the one wearing a parka in the desert. Use the AWP, he's there. He's always there. I really like this map too. Shelling the guys hauling ass acrossed the island in the jeep was just too much fun to care about almost anything else. Except shooting down the occasional airplane with the 5" guns
*ETA* Man, it's been so long....is that dust or dust2? Whatever, I bet I banned at least one arfcommer back inthe day from the server for being a tard of some sort
