Sounds like my GM's farm in MD. She had people dump off momma cats and there were kittens every where last sept/october but by November when it was getting cold the hawks and foxes had there way with some cats

Man I kinda regret letting my black cat (1st cat) hang outside unsupervised because his ass had it rough his 1st year but he's wised up and stays within earshot but he definitely lost a few lives

I got a black shorthair cat ( 8-12 months ) here at work that appeared in january/february I've been working and somethings been stealing his food bowls at night so hopefully I can get its ass inside as a shop cat before something happens to it

Cat waits for me every morning as I pull into work ( Ive been adopted )

As others stated you have to stimulate it to go poop and pee. If not it will have a painfull death. I have an abandoned kitten that's now 6 years old and is hands down the best family pet. He's has to hang, play and be part of the family. Take care of that lil guy and he'll pay you back by being your pal.

Cute kitteh! Thanks for caring enough to help the little guy out.

A good way to keep him warm would be a hot water bottle (either soft rubber ones meant for sore muscles or a plastic water/soda bottle filled with hot water) or a sock full of rice warmed in the microwave (warm but not hot enough to be uncomfortable against your own skin). Place one of these under under a blanket in his box and make sure you leave enough room for him to move off of it if he gets too warm, change it out after a few hours. I'm sure this time of year it's pretty hot in your garage, but air is a poor conductor of heat and kittens rely on that direct contact with a heat source that's usually provided by the mom.
