From giving the site operators heartburn and being banned, to being the guy that has the heartburn when something happens to the site.
You've gone full circle Sub, Congrats! |

Quoted: There are a few (replicated) fileservers behind a load balancer, that serve up our static content. It seems as if the load balancer doesn't (quickly) recognize when one of them has gone down. This is fun. View Quote Pffft, static content. When the stylesheet requests return a HTTP 502, it's just an alternative site UX |

I used to work for a guy who ran a successful SaaS business with Dropbox as source control. For more than a decade his app was Classic ASP. It's a wonder he survived. |

Quoted: I'm just happy that you kind and gentle folks, will calmy and politely let me know when it's fucked up. View Quote Of course I blame myself. If I hadn't taken Subnet for a 'working lunch', bought him 10 pints and mentioned the CEO's wife had a fixation on him, perhaps none of this would have happened. |

This counts as the annual DRS testing as well right? If not it should.

Problem is, it sometimes caches a file that wasn't the version I wanted it to, because it was being served off of a server (behind a load balancer) that frustratingly, didn't replicate the way it was supposed to. |

Do I finally get my quote notification and better search function? (Able to search two letter words like, ya know, 19, as in Glock 19!?)

Quoted: Quote notification would be so annoying. Nice to have the option though I guess. View Quote It’s on other forums I use, it’s a nice feature. If I ask a question in a thread it’s nice to see if anyone has responded directly without having to go back to the thread to look. Like you said, should be able to turn it off if you like. |

Nice RE-20. If it starts sounding distorted for no obvious reason one day, there's a plastic "button" under the diaphragm that can come loose, send back to EV for repair/replacement.
