Dickhead power line tree trimmers thought today was a good day to drive a half mile out in my hayfields to trim a few trees.
When your bucket truck is sinking to the axles, you should reconsider your scope of work for the day. |

I swear, those are the most inept type of people you can find on this planet.

Real considerate cocksuckers tho, they unhooked their woodchipper because it might get stuck? So they were just gonna cut branches and chuck them out in the field.

Got to unexpectedly take one of the dogs to the vet this morning.
TLDR: 80lb dag ate something he shouldn't have that can cause acute hypoglycemia and liver failure; I induced vomiting and fed him and he's at the vet for blood work. Jolly good times. |
|
Last night about 5 my wife left chewable kid vitamins on the counter and went shopping.
~6:30 I'm watching him run around and such, he pulls the bottle off the counter and apparently the lid wasn't secured so vitamins everywhere. Whatever, he gets a couple before I stick him back in the highchair and the dog gets a few before I get them scooped up. No big deal right? Except I take a quick look at the label and second "other ingredients" is xylitol. So kid in highchair gets put in the bathroom, I go dog the hydrogen peroxide out of the basement, grab the turkey baster and disassemble the bed to get to the 80lbs dog who's hiding under it, pick him up and lock us all in the bathroom, with me and him in the tub while I attempt to force hydrogen peroxide down his gullet. It worked, he puked up everything he'd eaten that day. Get him downstairs and give him some ham to get him eating and then a PB sandwich to elevate his blood sugar, kept an eye on him overnight while feeding him another ~1/3 PB sandwich every ~3 hrs to make sure his sugar didn't drop. Called the vet when they opened and dropped him off for blood work. Completely asymptomatic, so I expect he'll be fine, but the relationship between xylitol and liver failure in dogs isn't well understood. |

@ sbd
My Kolar guy said those 90T conversions were all done by Kolar to the best of his knowledge. It would be worth calling them to see if they can convert it back. |

View Quote Gotcha, Thanks Rick. I do know he sent it to Kolar when he had it converted to a release. I didn't know if it was something that could be done DIY or if it required the factory. |

Makes you wonder if xylitol is bad for humans, just to a lot lesser degree.

After a doctor pronounces the Pope dead, the Camerlengo calls the popes birth name out to him 3 times in his(the popes) native tong, then he removes the Popes signet ring and destroys it with that hammer. |
