I miss a lot of the old crew. Many good people have moved on.

Even the edgy, disruptive ones made this place interesting.

I can't blame the mods etc.. it's just attrition at work. Sometimes they just write themselves out of the play.

I guess what really comes to mind is that some people not only take the internet WAY too fucking serious, but when they start to either idolize or demonize anonymous people on it, you’ve gone clear over to the nutty side & need to get life or, at least better meds.

Folks, it ain’t real. The ‘people’ aren’t real. 99.44% don’t care if you live or die. It’s just entertainment.

Yup, I agree. That’s how I’ve always felt. I post and read here for entertainment. Most of what I post is goofy BS meant to be funny (I try).

My visual of Sylvan is Don Rickles. I read his texts in Rickles voice. Smart. Funny, in the right context but quick to insult when things don’t go his way.
