It reallys sucks, but we all knew it would happen. It happen to the Jeep guys already.
As soon as a family-friendly, 4-door option came along, soccer mom everywhere bought up the latest "I look tough" SUV. Now I drive around in my OG '69 Bronco, there are no waves from soccer moms or stuffy urban dads driving the other way. Nope, they all have their head in their phone or doing their makeup. They don't live up to the heritage of their vehicle. No manly men towing work trailers or heading off to cut firewood. I do get a ton of waves from from college-age girls in Jeeps, but it just feels wrong.

This post makes me feel so much better about my life. NONE of my fuckups are this bad. TC ETA: My ex has a new Bronco. 2.7 motor that is already throwing check engine lights. It’s only a matter of time before it swallows a valve. |
