Sir, you have my attention.  Do you have one of these?  Which model?  How's the cordura sheath?

ETA: I'm liking the Warrior 5.5

ETA2:  I see you were pointing out the Grax.  My bad.

Now that you have a back up time to get a primary

Here in Texas knives with blades over 5.5 inches are illegal to carry as are double edged and tomahawks. We in the stae of Texas need to get rid of the outdated knife laws

Have you every been in a knife fight?  One way or another, someone is going to get fucked up and the idea is that it should not be you.  Knowledge, experience and training are everything (with a liberal dose of courage thrown in).  Learn the skill first and then decide.  Fighting knives are not for show ...

I blame this thread for making me buy a swamp rat waki and warden, and for the impending purchase of something with a 8-10" blade.

Let's see your sword when you get it

Here it be, along with a couple other things I picked up.  This thread is very expensive.

Go retro

So my Dad used to work with an older guy.  They started talking about knives and such.  The dude says, "I'll bring in the knife I got issued in WW2, chances are you've never heard of it.

Yep, V-42.  Guy got issued it in WW2 in the OSS and carried it through WW2, Korea, and early Vietnam before retiring.

Randalls are more a religion than a knife.  I've been to the Randall shop; I actually peed in the same toilet Bo himself had used.  I'll tell you: it was a spiritual moment.

Model 14s are pretty popular, a lot of them around.  You should be able to find one on eBay, but you'll probably pay a premium over the catalog price.

I did a lot of searching last night, you are correct. I may have to just bite the bullet and get one from ebay.

Be the most expensive knife I ever purchased.

You will need to provide a link to back this statement up.

The cheapest I found on eBay was over $500.00 and some upwards of $1800.00.

$500-700 are normal prices for regular Randall knives especially if you want to bypass the ridiculous wait times.
