If you'd like to see one of the best time travel movies in existence, watch Predestination.

If you want to see a really unique "time travel" movie and don't mind subtitles, check out Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes on Amazon Prime.

My third suggestion is a bit more of a slow burn, as it's done as a documentary rather than a movie, but it's one you may need to watch a few times to find all of the subtle details you previously missed.

Good recent action movie is Plane with Gerard Butler. No politics, no wokeness. An average, nothing special airline pilot decides to step up and take action to save his passengers. Well done action scenes, gun fighting, and surprising violent. Highly recommend it.

Action and light sci-fi, that I never hear talked about is What Happened To Monday. Noomi Rapace plays seven twin sisters who live in a dystopian future where people are limited to one child, and they all pretend to be the same person. They're all named after a day of the week, and Monday goes missing and have try and find out what happened to her.
As a bonus Noomi Rapace gets nekkid   |

I thought "The Peripheral" series on Prime was really good.
Futuristic look at drone warfare, AI enhanced Marines, a twist on time travel etc... Decent plot line, kept me entertained - but I'm simple minded.
