Well, some of you have already posted my favorites---Bill Murray as Hercules, Fred Garvin, Male Prostitute. . .
I would add the skit of the "Minkman Bros Novelty Co". with Chris Guest, Billy Crystal and Harry Shearer as Mike Wallace (they were spoofing 60 Minutes). But also, the "Mainway Toys" sketches with Dan Akroyd and Jane Curtin . . very funny. . As a side note, before I married my wife, we went to the dress rehearsals of the very early shows--- '75 I think. . . We had also gone down to the city in '74 and seen National Lampoons Lemmings, which starred what became the cast of the 1st season of SNL. It was one long parody of Woodstock. When the farmer came out and addressed the crowd, he ended with , ". . .long hair, short hair, what the hell's the difference once the heads' blown off" Used to want to put that on a T-shirt. . . |

Try and find a youtube recording of when the REAL Donald Trump (not "Alec Baldwin") hosted the show... Season 41 episode 4 on 11/7/15, before he was elected and all the mainstream assumed the fix was in for Hillary.
You can't.... it's been scrubbed. (ok, if you have a Hulu account, you can watch it) That whole episode was hilarious!! |
