My oldest gun design (it's a replica) is a Pedersoli Bess, which isn't super historically accurate (it's kind of a mash up of a couple patterns, but iirc generally accurate-ish to a post 1780 Bess), and I've tried to have a representative sample of most periods of firearms development in American history; at this point I've sold off a few too many and have some gaps between my flintlocks and 20th century guns. |

I may have needed those a couple times that I didn't get one The time I was in a school's crawlspace adjusting valves on a heating water system and had to belly crawl along the foundation wall pushing my meter ahead of me, and then had to back out the same way because there wasn't anywhere with enough clearance to turn around comes to mind

That would be a pretty pimp addition to the collection too I'm kinda in the same boat on priorities, NV has taken over my shooting habits and I spend more time with that than my other stuff, really to the point I don't even shoot the non NV much anymore |
