I tend to cycle through the guns I'm interested in, which is why I used to have so many, but I've been focusing on getting my functional stuff all set up before buying "fun" guns.

But I really want one of these and one of these, and probably one of these to go with them.

I'm a gun nerd.

My oldest gun design (it's a replica) is a Pedersoli Bess, which isn't super historically accurate (it's kind of a mash up of a couple patterns, but iirc generally accurate-ish to a post 1780 Bess), and I've tried to have a representative sample of most periods of firearms development in American history; at this point I've sold off a few too many and have some gaps between my flintlocks and 20th century guns.

We had a horrific ant problem at our rental house back a few years ago.

Turns out that there was a ton of junk piled up in the crawl space underneath. The exterminator said until that was cleaned out and taken care of, the ants would just keep coming up. We just found a house we liked and moved. Not our problem anymore. I guess y’all don’t maybe have crawl spaces up there, though, so I don’t know how helpful that would be.

Actually we do have a crawlspace, but that's very unusual in our area (and highly annoying), but it's completely empty and radon abated (lined with sealed plastic tarps).

I may have needed those a couple times that I didn't get one
The time I was in a school's crawlspace adjusting valves on a heating water system and had to belly crawl along the foundation wall pushing my meter ahead of me, and then had to back out the same way because there wasn't anywhere with enough clearance to turn around comes to mind

I'd like to add a 1750's ish PA/VA rifle, an 1851 repro, an 1860 repro, an 1861 Springfield or 3 band 1857 Enfield repro, a trapdoor Springfield (preferably full length, but carbine would also be okay), a Krag (again, prefer rifle, but carbine would be okay), a .455 Webley (preferably Mk. I through V), a 1917 Enfield, a Hi-power, a more military config 1911, an FAL . . .

But none of that is happening until I have my primary ARs set up the way I want, a better mount for my PVS-14, another PVS-14 and a bridge, another helmet set up, a helmet mountable thermal mono, possibly a clip-on . . .
