My great x4 uncle was Colonel (later Brigadier General) Emerson Opdycke, who led the 125th Ohio Volunteers in the counterattack that turned back the Confederate attack at the Carter House. Col. Opdycke is the one using his revolver as a club. |

A few of those attending were individuals that he had saved in Iraq: They were there with their kids.
