what is the slowest, easiest, most forgiving fixed wing in inventory?

A-10, even without the Brrrrt.
Next up is an OV-10.

The 130 is not what I would call deluxe accommodations, or very 'sporty', but it does carry a lot of 'Merica.

I voted P51 but a F86 would do.

OV-10.  I don’t know why but that plane has always fascinated me.

Of what has been reveled to the public F-22. I see them flying almost every day and have to stop and look every time. Now, fitting into the cockpit is a different issue

For non-poll options it would be the tic-tac

I think messing around in something like the O-1 Bird Dog would be pretty neat for a bit, even though it's a relatively vanilla high-wing. Other than that, the V-22 has a neat mission, but has its nay-sayers in both USAF and USMC circles.

Those two come to mind the most.

I wanna go fast, but still have a little bit of Brrt.

F22 or bust

Skyraider story.

My girlfriend's dad flew them in Nam and he had a photo he took of a North Vietnam flag with big fat tracers coming at him hanging on the wall. One of the best photos I have ever seen.

Mig killin' bomb truck.

I got to sit in one as a Cub Scout and later watch them at work in VN. If I could afford a warbird this would be it.

Love the Skyraider.

I often think about how much of a game changer that aircraft would have been had it seen action in the Pacific in WWII - would have absolutely devastated Japanese island defenses like no other aircraft could have at the time.

That's so cool!

Depends what you want to do I suppose. I find high alpha much more fun than going fast. Going fast typically happens high and is boring. High alpha stuff is so cool. That means Hornet or Raptor or Flanker.

Alright.  So I went on a Jocko Podcast/MAC-V SOG binge and I'd never heard of these things before.  They're little badasses.

I'm surprised no one has opted for a Kiowa or Little Bird.
