I had S10 Blazers back in the day and always wanted a ZR2 Blazer. I found one for sale in WA. $5.5k, 110k miles, very crisp. It would have been a perfect around-town car. We couldn't figure how to get it shipped to Indiana and I didn't want to drive 2000 miles in a 4x4 that probably maxes out at 17mpg and has a small fuel tank.
Almost exactly like this. Attached File |

As much as I would love a Porsche 930 or another first generation Bronco. I need to tow some stuff so I want a 1992 Dodge one ton 4x4 flatbed with a Cummins and an Allison transmission, like:
http://classiccarsexport.com/photo/big/1992-dodge-ram-w350-power-wagon-4x4-5-speed-dually-1-ton-1.jpg But in white. |

Toyota HJ 47 Diesel 4 speed but in left hand drive.

M-35A2 with the LDT-465-1D.
Then, with a brand new canvas top, I would sit under it in a gentle rain and laugh about all the times I rode in one of those fuckers and got wet. But now, under a brand new waterproof canvas top, I would still be getting wet…. :( |

Quoted: If you could have your choice of any production model car or truck from any year in brand new condition and price was not a factor, maybe even consider it as a free gift, what would you choose? A 60's muscle car? A new European super car? Maybe a classic pickup truck from the 1950's? Or a brand new 2021 pickup truck? Why did you choose what you did? For me, I would want something like this 1972 Ford 4x4 https://cdn.dealeraccelerate.com/worldwide/1/4918/295410/1920x1440/w/1972-ford-f250-highboy I chose this pickup truck because I wasn't old enough to have one when they were in production and have been driving well used and abused versions of them for most of my life. Low ground clearance sports or performance cars may be fun, but do not fit well into my lifestyle. Many would not make it up my gravel driveway. View Quote |

There are plenty of old muscle cars that would be fun... but truth is, I would love to have a new late model 98-2001 4x4 Jeep XJ.
I've had a '95 and a couple of 2000's. Still one of my all time favorite vehicles. I also enjoyed my 2011 Xterra... wish they still made that one as well. |

My first truck when I graduated from college, a 1982 Ford Bronco, in-line 6 cylnder, 4speed transmission with a granny gear.
|
|
I would have, as another posted on page one, a Ferrari F40.
I've wanted one since I was a kid in the 80's with that poster from the book fair on my wall. |

OP's truck is a solid choice.
I'd also add Isuzu Vehicross (always loved those things) FJ40 AMC Eagle |

Obviously, I completely agree. Evidenced by my post. Since that car is not in my foreseeable future, Covid craziness pushed me to get this… Attached File While not my pick according to OP, Definitely my pick to realistically own and drive. Quoted: I would buy a new 1975 International 150, 4x4 with the short bed, 392 4 speed and all the options (the trim, carpet, bucket seats, A/C, ect.), and in black with a red interior. Very close to this pickup. Second choice would be a '71 International spec'd the same way. The '71 was in my opinion better looking and had a higher quality interior, but the '75 had a lot of nice mechanical improvements. Picture probably won't display because I'm an idiot, so sorry if it's a link. http://i.imgur.com/EWiTo3q.jpg View Quote My pick was a 73 1210 camper special 4x4 |
