So I have the opportunity to get my Windham MPC laser etched...the entire gun if I want to. All surfaces can be etched. I can't get into who or what is doing the work until, or if, I get the ok.
I'm looking for some ideas for a design. What kind of designs, graphics, or pics would you have etched into your AR? |

Ummmmm, nothing. Maybe it's just me but I hate gawdy pictures and shit all over my guns. If I could my lowers would have no rollmarks and I prefer to build my own uppers so they don't have company logos all over them. I don't own it to look at nor is it a billboard, but to each their own.

You should get the BCM, PSA, Spikes Tactical, and Daniel Defense logo all done one right on top of the next.

Get a huge DHS on the side, make the selector switch say women - men - children for safe - semi - auto.
Then post pics in gd next to a DHS ball cap and watch heads splode. |

How about some simple ballistics information, out to 500 or so, for a few common loads. Could be useful.

That's a bunch of good ideas Thanks for the help and keep them coming. I'll be sitting down with my buddy next week to discuss ideas and a layout.

The right laser can go more than deep enough for any required firearms engraving. Check out Gray Laser Engraving. They have a 07 manufacturer FFL, and they do great work. FYI, the depth required is 0.003"; my Gray Laser engraved SBR markings are WAY deeper than that. |

my sis just retired from the Army and i plan on getting her an ar-15 engraved In Honor Of Your Service. and i know she served with the 10TH Mountain Div in Iraq or Afganistan plus others i can't remember

Show some class. A miniature re-creation of the Bayeaux Tapestry, but you're gonna need a looong rail and a fixed stock.
