Finally completed my order. Got an urg-i stripped upper. Not sure if I want the brake pinned & welded or just do it myself and run it on my SBR lowers.

My FIL smoked the turkey he served today. Olive oil, salt and pepper. It was pretty dang good.

Nice, I love brisket. My mom, for reasons she can't put into words, refuses to eat cows

So that's pretty much a nonstarter for family get togethers.

I've fried turkey, baked it, sous vided it, and smoked it. Smoking is my favorite way to prepare it.

Even though I sous vide most of my food, I hated the sous vide turkey. The texture was gross. Everybody else seemed to like it though.
