I'd drop my QX4 off at the infiniti dealer and tell them to unfuck all is problems and since they are also the Porsche dealer I'd buy a 911 to drive until my Infiniti is fixed up.

Cars are a utilitarian tool for me, so I'd pick something comfortable and reliable, so a pickup for me.

I'd buy a sports car with at least 1,000 HP. I've already got a truck.

With 100M I'd be building/buying a huge ranch somewhere so I'd need trucks and machines to help out not that I don't like sports cars but don't really think it'd be useful in this case.

Or buy a taco and drive to Mexico. Spend time drinking and fishing while it gets a full hilux swap.

The pickup type vehicle would be more versatile and would allow me to get back into wheeling.  However, the experience of the sports car would be more accessible and I would get more enjoyment out of it on a day to day basis, so it wins in this poll.

Pickup.  Probably a new Tacoma, with the maximum capabilities (4x4, off road, double cab, etc) and the 4 cylinder engine. I'd use my clout to get them to build exactly what I wanted, even if it meant paying more to get it.  (They have gone on again and off again on putting the 4cyl in a double cab, but for me they would have to put it in a double cab 4x4).

It would have a vault onboard to carry a few pounds of gold and silver coins, to ensure I could always get to where I need to go, or back home (but normally I'd just pay with a cash rewards credit card).  There would also be room for a dedicated truck gun and all the essentials of a get home kit.

On the outside, it would look like any other Tacoma, for the ultimate rich gray man's vehicle.

At that point your time is worth too much and you pay other people to do pickup truck type shit, unless your pulling a trailer with 4 wheelers but the v10 expedition can do that.

I have a pickup, and I'd see no reason to get rid of it or upgrade. It would remain my daily driver.

I'd buy a Ferrari. But not a modern one, a classic. Maybe something like a 250 Berlinetta Lusso or something like that.
Plus an Austin Healey 100, and a BMW 3.0 CSL, and an Alfa 2000 Veloce, and a ....

eta:
This one is for sale right now, as we speak, for $2.4M
That would be my first phone call, without hesitation.

With $100 million, the answer is obviously “get both” - meaning a crew cab truck for practical stuff, and an exotic or two for fun.

ETA:  when we retire, my wife and I plan to get a crew cab 150, and that will be our only car.

I don't believe you.

A luxury sedan, classy but not too showy on the outside, but awesome sexiness on the inside and a great, fun ride.

Second would be basically the truck I have, just in the top trim.

Never really liked cars.

Had them out of necessity.

Haven't had a car since 2005.

Unless forced to I would not get another.

Below are the only cars that I could see myself driving.

1980's Toyota Supra GTS
Pontiac G8
Subaru wrx

In that order.

Just being practical.  An island would be nice but it would need to have an area to build above ay potential storm surge height. Any structures could be reinforced to protect from just the winds.

If I've made it this long without a vehicle, then I clearly don't need one. Definitely don't need a truck. So it comes down to fun. Immediate fun. Definitely getting the sports car!

I can get a truck later and set it up for hunting, camping, etc.

I’d buy a third or fifth generation El Camino.  Then I’d take it to whoever’s the current incarnation of Carrol Shelby and tell them to turn it into a high performance road car. “Do what you gotta do. Oh, and by the way, have someone build me a two-speed rear end in case I want to pull 1500 pounds of trailer now and then.  Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. I don’t give a damn.  Just do it.  Here’s a hundred grand.  Call me when that’s gone.  Now get cracking, Sugar.”

Then I’d go to the DMV and order up a set of vanity plates: KMAMF.

Sports car type vehicle because I already have a very large SUV to carry stuff.   But with 100 million in the bank, chances are very high that I would upgrade to a really nice Pickup AND a sports car type vehicle.

Give only those two choices and not having any other cars per OP, I'd get the truck first.  I don't even particularly like daily driving a truck, but it makes the most sense.

The other nice thing about going truck first is that its a little less of a shopping experience.  Its going to take me a while to figure out what sports car(s) I'll want.  I have the most driving experience with Porsches, but with 100m sitting around, I may want something more exotic, and that's not a decision you make in a day.

Lol at this thread's poverty mindset.

People with $100 Million:
A) don't keep it in the bank
B) don't touch dirty things with their hands. That includes towing and hauling things.
C) rent out tracks and supercars when the urge to go fast hits them.
