I have friends who are perpetually single and they seem great to me, but I realize I have zero clue what they are like in a relationship. That's why I find it amusing when people are confused as to why their friend *who is a great guy* keeps striking out. I'm sure the women they've dated could clear it up for them.

It's the internet, and he gave us three wildly different photos with zero backstory. It makes sense that a mostly male forum, given only the option of three photos, would generally pick the most attractive female.

You must also think that 40% of women have a penis, based on the responses in this thread.

Reading beyond that is absurd and just shows your bias.

Start another pole, but offer no photos and give people a choice:

A 60 year old actress who's twice divorced
A 40 year old porn star at the end of her career
Or a 40 year old average looking female who works at Target.

Assume they all have similar physical characteristics.

Go!

You'll probably get totally different results, and that's because most relationships are a series of complex interactions based on meeting people in specific social circles, happenstance timing and only partially based on looks and personal preferences.

# 1 has to be pushing 60 ,if not older. Don't feel like googling her atm , but I cant be far off.

#2 is a porn star. I've seen her work and didn't even have to google her name.

#3 is DQ'd. I cant get down with all them damn freckles. I'd waste half the day playing connect the dots . I'm sure she's nice, but if the attraction aint there, it aint there

Maybe it's a bad picture, but #3 isn't in the same ballpark as the first two. Putting her picture along side the others makes her more unattractive.

Odd so many would be OK with someone that they think may be a guy, but if not, then fine.
So you are ok being seen with someone that everyone looks at the two of you and says "Is that guy is married to a dude?".

As for the poll, none of the above.
I never dated based on just looks.
I know plenty of bat crap crazy or mean/cruel women that are amazing looking, but I want nothing to do with.

Man, OP is not giving good options, here. Choices are a multiple-divorcee with a spotlight and who, while still somewhat decent-looking for her age, is way over the hill and with whom it is way too late to have a family; a porn star that upon looking it up is rapidly approaching middle age; and someone I personally find unattractive and who is around the same age as the porn star, I'm pretty sure, although she seems cool, otherwise.
