I doubt the witness is far removed from the criminal in terms of mentality given the comments he made, but there isn't a lot he could do in our current society even if he wasn't a piece of shit who was rooting for the robber at first.

Unfortunately, it's going the opposite direction. Hence the countless videos of POS thieves brazenly, causally, stealing bags full of merchandise.

During the BLM riots/looting, we had mayors and governors saying exactly what the scumbag said in that video: "That's what insurance is for". Laws will not be enacted to protect the "privileged" merchant. If anything, "the law" will prosecute them for "taking the law into their own hands" when "the law" fails to incarcerate or even arrest the scum of society.

Beautiful.

As far as I know, Sikhism (a Hindu offshoot, iirc) is a very peaceful religion. Knew a Sikh restaurant owner and his wife, wonderful people.

There is a type of sword that I believe observant Sikh men carry with their religious clothing. The perp in the video is fortunate that the store owner didn't use one of those. Not saying he would have used it, but the perp appeared to have no interest in doing anything other than getting merchandise in the plastic garbage can.

I believe you are correct. I’ve known plenty of Sikhs over the years. Fantastic people every one I’ve met.

They have a huge temple northeast of Denver. I’ve been by it several times but never went in. I’d really like to someday.

From what I understand anyone is welcome so long as you follow their rules. If you do they are very welcoming and pretty much treat you as family as I understand it.
