I call everyone above me in the work chain of command Boss or Boss Man.
I call those at my level or below Bud. I call customers I consider a potential threat Bud. |

Maybe not "Boss" followed by "Man" but usually just the word "Boss." Waitress brings me my food and says, "here you go, boss."

I had an employee who would laughingly call Boss Man. I would respond calling him Subservient One.
