Yes, they'll survive.
Professional and College ball games are literally the only thing that brings most urban and suburban men enjoyment in their lives. They aren't going to give up Monday night football down at Mickey's with the boys, or be forced to spend time with the wife when there is escapism in front of the TV with a few brewskies. Most people I know that live vicariously through sports are pretty much pretending this isn't happening, and "hoping they play the next game" seems to be their topic of choice. |

I don't really care if professional sports dries up and blows away in the wind. I only watch hockey but I could go watch a Junior game or a AAA U16 game at my local rink and be just as happy. I don't give two fucks about MLB, NBA or the NFL and I only give 1 fuck about the NHL so I'm good.
