I've seen a SWAT officer carrying a Stanley Fubar on his belt.  I didn't talk to him, but I assume as a breaching tool.
It was in some sort of leather belt loop thing (probably from Home Depot).

That would be great if it way break-away, but the description makes it sound like it does not allow a quick draw.

I didn't see the pics after the edit.  Do you have a like for that?

I'm googling "one Tigris hammer" without much luck.

My son observed the same thing about the muzzies.  They were always playing with long arms but if someone pulled out a handgun that meant they were serious about shooting somebody.

I like it, but I have a nice well-used old hammer that I'm going with.  Basically, this:

Now I need to break out the kydex and make a concealment rig.

Much as I like the tomahawk as a close range weapon, I think the hammer is probably more efficient. Probably easier to retrieve when you bonk someone with it, unless you’re using the claw and.

Nice.

I like that they have a black version for urban environments and a tan version for deserts.

IIRC they're the same folks who build stuff for Eagle Industries kit. I want one of their leather tool rolls but need a few other things first.

I'm hoping that they have BF sale.  I really like the AIMS™ Hammer Hold, but $60+ seems a little steep for what it is.

True but if we're talking about adult/professional use, a good sling and QD mounts cost more than that. Most of their stuff looks like a lyfstile brand for a tradesmen but the quality likely matches the price.

In for all possible answers.  There has been many a time in the midst of shot and shell that I noticed that a bit of carpentry needed done.  It good to see I'm not the only one.

For actual work, I don’t have an issue with the leather/steel loop depicted at the top of page.

All the carpenters and laborers I see use them. Generally mounted at 6:45-7:00 or 4:00-5:15.

Love my Estwing hammers and hatchets. Seems like they have a hammer for everything.

Historically tomahawks were usually just tucked in a sash or belt which hasn't really been improved on a ton since. Quick to grab, fairly secure, easy, cheap.

This thread is gonna make me buy a nice titanium framing hammer...

The setup I have on my survey construction belt for my claw hammer: A carabiner tied to my belt with parachute cord --- Underneath that --- I use a clip attached, 25' retracting tape holder sheath, tied securely to my belt with parachute cord. It has a wide enough hole in the bottom of the tape sheath for the hammer shaft to fit in.

I use the tape sheath as an extra safety purpose...just in case the carabiner doesn't hold the hammer securely enough. It usually takes two hands for me to insert the hammer into the two hammer holders...but it only takes one hand to pull it out.
