Often people here will speculate to the sexual practices of the Obama household in sentences that include the word "probably" but still come off as quite certain. People on the left said similar things about Bush- always just as politically irrelevant, and sometimes just as politically incorrect. It doesn't have to do anything with conveying useful information, it has to do with expressing emotion. Given a certain set of parameters, disparate individuals will come up with similar ways of expressing those emotions. |

I found this an extremely fascinating and interesting parable and one I can totally endorse. For we must guard carefully not to fall into the trap of being so dependent on the government that we lose our sense of responsibility for our live and even worse, the very spark of life. Yet, this also brings me to the recognition that we are caught in a rather interesting dilemma are we not. While I agree with the "trap" of the wild pig and the problems that presents, we are also experiencing what happens when you let the pigs (pun intended) run wild (the effect of too much de-regulation for example) and the effects it has on our society overall. – Anyone enjoying the financial crisis we are in? So the real question, (and I believe the true answer) lies in how do we find the right balance. The trouble we have in our political system is we keep running back and forth between taming the wild pigs and letting them run wild. Wildness is good for creativity, entrepreneurialism, and the like. You want the free flow of energy to stimulate new innovation. And yet when you have unbounded flow of energy you have chaos, which then has to correct itself. As we learn to work with the powerful flow of societal energies, I believe we can learn to modulate the unbounded flow of energy while not reaching the point of constraining it to where we are limiting its flow. |

When the left uses these tactics, it keeps the field of quality candidates down in the first place. Why would they deal with this abuse to begin with? They have clearly won that battle. While Carson is not my perfect candidate, he is the perfect example of the TYPE of candidate we should have standing every election; an American who has plowed his field, put up his hay, harvested his crops, and climbed on his horse for the ride into town to do his part there. We need more like him, and because there aren't enough, we really need a man like Cruz to step in, lead the charge to get ship through the storm and back to home waters. Second, reacting to leftist agitation just lets them treat you like a donkey following a carrot on a string. Trump has a history of of being everything but the type of character we need in charge, but he knows exactly what kind of "red meat" to throw from the podium. I will keep my eye on the ball and vote for Cruz regardless of what i see from the opposition. |
