If they are into scamming they can make a lot more, assuming they don't get caught. My credit card was cloned a couple of months ago and a fraud alert kicked in when someone tried to give a Lyft drive a $540 tip on a $20 ride.
 How they ever thought something like that would fly is beyond me.
