To me the big problem is characters. Wick One had several main characters to follow throughout the story. Wick 2 is just lots of killing just to be killing. I still love the first one. Wick 2 I cannot sit and watch all the way through.

I think the first movie is a classic even if the story is mediocre. The second is something you'd probably just skip to the action scenes when re-viewing. I will certainly be interested in seeing how the wrap up the 3rd film. |

I've enjoyed both.
JW2 was a more behind the scenes of a hit mans lifestyle and clearly a setup for the next movie. |

John Wick 2 had virtually become a caricature of the universe it created by the end of the second film. I’m really hoping that 3 takes a different approach while still preserving the style and gunplay we have enjoyed throughout the series. John Wick 2 has a lot of Vampire movie inspiration in it. I didnt notice it until my girlfriend said something and then I couldnt get it out of my mind. It is like an Emo Kid got together with the Goth and Vamp kids and directed an action film. |

I liked JW-1 better. But they were both pretty entertaining.

I liked the first one better; better storyline, better characters. The mute dykey chick in the second one was annoying.
That said, the Baba Yaga line was stupid. Baba Yaga isn't the Boogeyman Man, she's an old babushka witch who rides around on a hut with chicken legs for stilts. Duh... Quote HistoryQuoted:

I loved them both, the first one holds a special place because it wasn't expected (to be good) and it had great kill/action sequences. That said I was very entertained by the second one too. No real complaints, but I'm no film critic...
