Do it. Just keep in mind it might be pinned in place and makes it a bit more difficult to change to a side charger if you wanted. 10 3/4oz campbells soup cans fit in mine. I should have brought mine to the range today and function tested it.

I didn't expect the roll pins to be as long as they were so I cut into the center of the roll pin, but the one that goes into the barrel stub is about an inch long, which left a piece in the bottom and tore up the threads on the tube as it came out.
You can't see much from the picture except where the two pins would be, one is for the "barrel nut" portion that connects to the tubes and the other one is actually drilled through the receiver threads and into the barrel stub. Check out the New Soda Launcher thread thread for better pictures and info. If you get one that isn't pinned, you just unthread the whole thing and put it on any upper you want, like those $100 bear creek side chargers if you had one. Attached File |

Looking like I might be kinda back in. Still not finding a job.
Might drag my friend with me. |

Hoping to head out for a night goon session when I get home from work.
Most likely the weekend of the 23rd. Shoot all afternoon, dinner, shoot a few hours at night, crash at the bunkhouse. Anyone interested? @techops @sleepingbirddog @cyb29 @thegunslinger |

Memorial Day weekend? I'll be at the Lake and could probably use a few hours away from my family.

Thats not an issue. I have loaner rifles and things.
I know its memorial day weekend. I could maybe move it back a week? Figured mem day got people the time off to come down. @keeperofthedew also @theradbaron too @showmeballer youre welcome too ofc |

I'm pretty sure that I could make it down for that, whether Memorial Day weekend or the next. I have NODs but no cans since I have the same Illinois problem that SBD does.

But if you do it the following weekend I might be able to make it work if my wife will be around to watch our crippled dog. I'm also nod and can poor. |

Id either be back in Chi-town or back overseas if that border opens. |

Sounds like a plan. Ill check and see what the range has planned that weekend.

In Iberia or elsewhere?
I can bring a 50 and other toys but no wizard eyes yet... |

Yeah at the same location as flyover 3. Different range setup tho
On another note @illinois bois I may be in Southern Illinois for work this weekend. Will know more and reach out direct through the book of faces when I do. (except you techops ) |

F5 sells can cannons at 5 for the price of 4. They're on sale for $139 right now. Any 4 people want a can cannon at the price of ~$111 + tax/shipping? I could deliver them at FO.

It would essentially be a linear compensator that a golf ball just happened to fit inside and if you just happen to put a blank round in then... voila! |
