Sounds like loading procedure for a muzzleloader.

1.Fill this scoop with powder, dump down bore

2.set this cloth over the muzzle, press ball just below flush, cut cloth, shove it down on top of the powder

3. prime

4. shoot

Maybe I'll drag my Bess down to the side range this year, if anyone is interested.

Do it. Just keep in mind it might be pinned in place and makes it a bit more difficult to change to a side charger if you wanted. 10 3/4oz campbells soup cans fit in mine. I should have brought mine to the range today and function tested it.

I didn't expect the roll pins to be as long as they were so I cut into the center of the roll pin, but the one that goes into the barrel stub is about an inch long, which left a piece in the bottom and tore up the threads on the tube as it came out.

You can't see much from the picture except where the two pins would be, one is for the "barrel nut" portion that connects to the tubes and the other one is actually drilled through the receiver threads and into the barrel stub. Check out the New Soda Launcher thread thread for better pictures and info. If you get one that isn't pinned, you just unthread the whole thing and put it on any upper you want, like those $100 bear creek side chargers if you had one.

Hoping to head out for a night goon session when I get home from work.

Most likely the weekend of the 23rd.

Shoot all afternoon, dinner, shoot a few hours at night, crash at the bunkhouse.

Anyone interested?

Just need a tube that has an id of about 1.6-1.7inches. And takes omega threads. Then attach mount of choice :keymo, planb, asr.

Not nfa bcus no endcap and doesnt muffle. The gun its attached to can maintain its non nfa status as well I believe.

It would essentially be a linear compensator that a golf ball just happened to fit inside and if you just happen to put a blank round in then... voila!

I dont have access to a golf ball. I feel like thatll be too tight. The minimum spec i saw was 1.6x. Figured a 2 tenths slip fit would be fine and avoid messy issues if it stuck.
