James Bond is a male character. Period, no debate. Its like making Charlie's Angels with dudes. I am a huge James Bond fan. I will not watch this. Nothing against her and nothing against women, simply not correct for the character.

She isn't the new Bond for the franchise. In the upcoming film, when James retires, she is the "new" 007.

Then they will reboot with a new, male, franchise lead.

Imagine the bubble these Hollywood types must live it. This thing had to have been the planning stages for some time. The director, producer, the money people would have all gone to their posh little parties and talked about their "upcoming project". "Well, we're about to start a new Bond film. We're breaking new ground. Our new Bond is a female person of color". And every fucking person they told that too said "Oh, that's awesome!".

If you think about it, they are the most insulated, provincial, non-diverse people on the planet. Sure, they are visually diverse. They come in different hues and colors. But they all think exactly alike. They are diverse in ways that don't matter, and homogeneous in all the ways that do.

I re-watched the first three movies the other weekend, and I think I was up to 8 or 9 chicks he banged, just in the first three movies.
