I find that disturbing slightly.
When a show is so big like Seinfeld, and you’ve seen all the episodes 75 times, he’s just stuck in my head as a 35-40ish year old guy, young, dating, having fun. Jerry being 70 is weeeeird man. |

Agree. I always see hollywood stars getting older and tell my wife “man, he’s starting to get old, glad we still look the same!”.

I’ve never found him amusing, but I am clearly in the minority.

On a similar note, it's really weird seeing David Letterman with that giant Howard Hughes style recluse beard these days.

I'm okay with him turning 70.
It weirds me out that he was only 35 when he started his tv show. Why? I don't know. |
|
Only good stuff on the show was Costanza's dad and Kramer. JS isn't funny or ironics.

I’ve tried to rewatch it numerous times over the years but the laugh tracks are an instant show stopper for me. Just can’t get past them. I don’t know how they were acceptable back then other than that was all we knew.

George made that show for me. Eating that sandwich, while watching tv in bed under the covers and when asked what he was doing by his girlfriend, answering, 'Pleasuring you" I laughed.

This is the same with "Friends".. Every night without fail, when we go to bed, she starts Friends streaming. She even has the complete serious on DVD for when we camp or travel. I don't get it. But, shes been doing it longer than I've known her. Quoted: Agree. I always see hollywood stars getting older and tell my wife "man, he's starting to get old, glad we still look the same!". LOL I do the same.... Not saying I'm good looking or anything, but I run into folks I grew up with or worked with 20-35 years ago and their like HOLY CRAP, other than shorter hair now, you look pretty much like you did back when we were in School or worked at the Computer Store. |

Quoted: Seinfeld is funny. Friends fucking sucked. Kharn View Quote Friends was fucking awful. When my sons mother was pregnant that was the only fucking thing she watched. I begged her to please watch anything else before David Schwimmers whiny mopey dipshit voice drove me to my best Kurt Cobain imitation. |

They used him for a gag to do the series finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm which I like better than Seinfeld. He looked pretty good for his age whereas Richard Lewis looked terrible and well, he died recently.

Read the other day someone dangled $500 million in front of Jerry Seinfeld and Michael Richards (Kramer) to develop a new series
IMO, the funniest character actors ever on a TV show: Don Knots, Barney Fife Christopher Lloyd, Iggy on Taxi David Hyde Pearce, Niles on Frazier Michael Richards, Kramer |

They got a Lot of mileage out of mocking Old fogies. Now They are the decrepit old bastards.

Friends wasn't funny but I found it watchable. Of course, I hate Letterman and SNL too. I swear, NYC humor is different than most of the US. |

So, is he still dating 17 year olds?
His show always grated on me, because I knew / went to university with the sociopathic narcissistic personality prototypes his characters were based on. |
|

That big titted barely legal girl he dated was hot.
his wife isn't bad. |
|
The situational comedy in the show was hilarious. Jerry was not funny.

Anti-dentite.
Next thing you know they'll be going to their own schools |

He doesn't look 70. 60 at the most. I guess that's what a billion dollars does for you.

I liked him a lot but wasn't a fanatic. His show had great humor and character.

Former cokehead, alcoholic, had a number of injuries and developed Parkinsons Yeah he looked like a skeleton on the last season of Curb. RIP |

I’m currently watching Star Trek: Picard. All the TNG people 30 years later is messing with me.

Seinfeld was great. Kramer and Kenny Roger's Roasters is probably the episode that stuck with me the most, absolutely priceless. I remember when my roommates and I had a bunch of friends over for the finale and our cable went out about 15 minutes before it started. We ran coax from the second floor of the house next door over to a second floor window at our place and got it hooked up just in time. |

Seinfeld is an iconic sitcom. Certain one-liners, phrases, and physical acts from the show have become enshrined in public discourse. At least among Boomers, Gen-X and Millennials.

good mindless TV show, always liked it, still watch reruns, supporting cast made it, Kramer , George, even Newman. couldn't name one TV show that's funny anymore, besides American dad, or family guy and those are cartoons

I watched the pilot, then just read a synopsis of S1-2 and watched a couple of specific scenes I wanted to see. Then I started watching season 3. Season 3 is excellent so far. Seems to be very little from previous seasons that I’m missing out on, and reading a synopsis took care of pretty much all of it. |
