When I was a young Devil Dude Twofootonion Leathernuts Marine, our life goal was to hit up the bars of Southern California, or wherever we were, and endeavor to get laid. We enjoyed some degree of success.

In the last couple of years, I’ve seen a number of my friends hit up with the surprise kid from DNA testing. I just saw one case where the mom was married and in the Navy at the time, and the kid shared the info with not-real-Dad who had raised her for twenty years. Drama ensued.

I’ve never seen or heard of anybody hit with 18 years of child support for a kid they had no knowledge of.

One of my friends found out he had an 11 year old he fathered at age 18. He had to back pay all the child support. Now he's a grandfather at 49.
