With veteran discount out the door for nearly $1500 even. With quad rail and flip-up front/rear Troy sights not a bad deal. Possibly could have done better, but wasn't going to call/drive all around Greenville either. One call, one stop. View Quote |

How much you gonna flip it for? Surely, you didn't buy it to add to your collection.
|
|
|
Bro...there are countless 6920s on GB for way less than that...
|
|
Then again he may be able to flip it one day for $5-10k.
You did fine OP, it's just money and you can't take it with you. |

It's marked as a 3629 M P on top of barrel.
Box marked LE6920-FBPI. SEMI-AUTO (2013 Config) FBI over-run contract? |

Quoted: That sounds more like the SOCOM rifle, which is a good rifle...although that looks to be about MSRP on it. Which is a bit high. View Quote This has to be a spoof thread, Arms Unlimited has 6920's at $900 shipped... |

LE6920-FBP1
Troy eleven inch Alpha free-float rail. Troy flip-up front and rear sights. At best, $1100 - $1175, but it's got Troy rail and sights; meh... |
|
I'm curious about what configuration this is. You mention quadrail, and both front and rear Troy sights, so it's not a standard 6920. Do you have a pic of the rifle yet?
|
|
Daaaaaaamn son....
Well if you need some mags for it. I'll hook you up $39.99 a piece buy 5 or more and I'll give a Vet discount of $36.99 a piece |
|
Most likely a limited production run, much like Colt used to do for Talo...

View Quote Out of curiosity, what is stamped on the right side of the upper receiver below the top rail? CAGE code or “C”? Markings on bolt carrier or bolt? Should also be a date code on the barrel with month/year. Has nothing to do with FBI AFAIK. |

I understand the 6920 is a good firearm, and the base for which all other AR's are usually judged in the modern era. That being said with $1500 I would have a pretty killer LW middy BCM, if it was my coin. Honestly though a $500 Aero stripped with 1k of goodies on it doesn't sound bad either...

Don't feel bad OP. I paid $1,650 for a Colt MT6551 one week before they were banned for good in California. This was late December 1999.
I had no interest in ARs until California banned them and then I did last minute shopping that cost me an arm and a leg. |

Golly, all the hate. I'm wealthy and retired. I have a $7,200 R/C U-BOAT on order for to play with on a neighborhood 4 acre pond. Allow me my indulgences. No need for petty remarks! View Quote |

I hate shitting on people for what they buy, so don't take this that way, but damn bro. Do you even know ETA: extra emphasis on not trying to shit on you. It's your money, if you're happy, who gives a shit what anybody else thinks View Quote |

Although it does appear I paid a premium for 2013. FBI contract over-run, my rifle comes with a story, for what it's worth.
And tomorrow, you bung holes will still be YOU. Attached File |
