[???]Jane Zhang-The Diva Dance(from the Fifth Element)(???????????) |
|
One of the few flicks I saw at the theatre.
Watched it a few times since. |

View Quote Fan fucking tastic!!! BRAVISSIMO!!! She's hot as hell and has a stunning voice. I like how she actually sang the auto-tuned/vocoder scale sections of the original. |

Quoted: "Little Light of Love" by Eric Serra (played during the end credits) has been my phone alarm clock, reminder notification, and phone ring tone for many years. I saw this flick in the theater when it first came out and was hooked on that song from day one. Beautiful song. I watch the film whenever I stumble on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4QfyMUeOQ8 View Quote Huh. Never dug into the song or the credits, but for sure heard it, and always thought it was a Peter Gabriel one-off. |

Quoted: They needed to clean up the plot, and get a leading man with more presence. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Fifth Element is one of my favorite movies. I think it makes a heck of a contrast with Valerian and the city of a thousand planets. Same director and when they were working on Fifth Element it’s been said that they really wanted to make a movie out of the Valerian comic. But I remember everything about Fifth Element. All I remember from Valerian was Cara Delevegine’s silly hat. They needed to clean up the plot, and get a leading man with more presence. That was a really strange casting choice for the 2 leads. The only reason I can think why anyone would cast those 2 in anything would be because they look like they could be brother and sister. |

So many awesome movies from the 90's. And music. It's ridiculous. Everything is crap now.

My dogs name is "Leeloo Dallas Multipass" and has a multipass dog tag. If they Scan her chip, it comes up as "Leeloominaï Lekatariba Lamina-Tchaï Ekbat De Sebat". I'm also currently trying to talk the wife into getting a doberman puppy and name it Aknot or Zorg.
You could say I like that movie. |

Hmmm, I thought the commentary track said that was Besson's then-wife opera-singer specifically because she could sing it all. |

I watched this with my two boys (18 and 14) a couple of weeks ago and they were thoroughly unimpressed.
It was like pearls before swine. They're so solid every other way, they just don't appreciate the fine films of my youth. |

Horrible acting with that whispering voice he does and his dialogue/script was atrocious. The movie was interesting as long as I look past him. |

Quoted: One of my favorite movies... That and Heavy Metal... Did we ever prove that it was based on this short? https://pics.imcdb.org/12767/heavymetal.jpg View Quote There's a YT video that explores this; makes a good case. |

There wasn’t really anything like it before. Now, everything is a CGI bukkake superhero fest. |

Such a great movie. All of Korben's mis-adventures just in the short time he spends in his little apartment are amazing. The Gimmethecasshhhhh guy's dance gets me every time.

Quoted: "Wife" He met her when she was 12 years old and got her pregnant at 15, lol. "Wife" He met her when she was 12 years old and got her pregnant at 15, lol. "The heart wants what the heart wants" amirite? He definitely dumped her for new younger Milla - perhaps after some on-set shenanigans if rumors are to be believed. I never said the guy was a decent human being, just that I thought I remembered that the lady actually sang those notes on set. |

Quoted: Here he is the one and only winner of the Gemini Croquet contest! This boy is huge! Like fire! So start melting ladies because this boy is hotter than hot HE'S HOT HOT HOT! I may have seen this movie too many times. View Quote There is no such thing! Can't even begin to count the times I've watched this classic. TV will be on for background noise and it happens to be on while I am passing through the living room, " damnit, I know we have it on the server and I just watched again last week, but I need some multi-pass in my life" . |
